I’ve always been drawn to creating the things I wish existed in the world. I believe the best ideas often come from a personal need, and the most meaningful work happens when you build with both intention and intuition. I’ve long been fascinated by the connection between our inner world and how it shapes our waking life, and in early 2023 with the rapid rise of artificial intelligence, I wanted to challenge myself creatively by exploring what that could look like in a more thoughtful and original way than what was currently available.
So, like I often do when something doesn’t exist the way I imagine it should: I built it.
DreamyBot was purely a personal experiment. But as others found it and shared their experiences with me, I’ve since realized this is shaping up to be more than just a creative challenge. My working theory is that the themes in our dreams mirror the unresolved emotions, beliefs, and formative experiences we carry, whether or not we’re aware of them. And by engaging with those themes intentionally, we can begin to shift how we feel and how we live, which will then in turn reflect back to us in our dreams.
The overall purpose of this work is not just to understand your dreams, but to gain agency over your life. Emotional wellness is more than managing stress/avoiding burnout. It’s also recognizing when something doesn’t feel right, and having the tools to listen to that intuition. Dreams are an accessible and universal way anyone can engage with this work privately.
When we take the time to understand ourselves, I believe we become more grounded, clear, and compassionate and that inner alignment naturally strengthens our self-trust and confidence, our relationships, communities, and ultimately, the world we share.
DreamyBot is a passion project that continues to grow and expand as I do. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University where I studied business, psychology, and digital media. These areas continue to shape the way I think, create, and build. DreamyBot is a natural extension of that ongoing curiosity.
Thank you for continuing to support this project.
Sweet dreams,
